  • Canital, now having parking issues, purchases 4530 Rhodes Drive from J. Lepera Holdings, a 22,000 square foot industrial building adjacent to 4520 Rhodes Drive. Metal Supermarkets is the anchor tenant.
  • Falom sells Michener Industrial Mall due to poor economic conditions in Sarnia, Ontario, with intentions to concentrate on Windsor.
  • Feracor, a joint venture between Casilco Corp. and Camoge is formed. A lot at 870 Park Ave. is purchased and a 4,600 square foot office building is erected to accommodate Paroian Law Firm. The adjacent lot is purchased soon afterwards.
  • Rancor Properties joint venture is formed and a 5,000 square foot office building on St. Clair Street in Chatham is purchased. Investors Group is the anchor tenant.
  • Mud Creek Club begins transformation into vegetable business. A 50 acre parcel is set aside to grow carrots for John Omstead.
